Why this blog?

Welcome to the Candidate Experience Matters Blog!  This blog was set up by Marc Mapes, OraRuth Rother and Gareth Jones all three of whom are passionate about the experience of candidates in todays murky world of job seeking.  As accidental entrepreneurs, Marc and OraRuth founded their business - www.hirematch.me – after being on the end of some appalling candidate management experiences.  Yep, they were treated so badly they decided to set up a business to address the issue.

This blog was created to bring the subject onto a common blog platform and encourage debate amongst those people in the industry who share the passion – or not as the case may be!
